C1900 Superb Set 10 Gilt Sterling Silver Cupid Motif Dessert/fruit Forks

Presented is a great set of 10 sterling silver dessert or fruit forks. These forks date to around the turn of the century, and are done in a pattern very similar to Dominick & Haff's Labours of Cupid. The handles are decorated with an openwork design of a cupid with a basket of fruit on his head, with various foliate and scroll designs surrounding. The forks have a rich gold wash, suitable for use with acidic or corrosive foods. The forks have three tines, and can be used as salad forks, fish forks, or however else you like.
This set is in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. The gilding is pristine. There are no bends, no breaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each fork is stamped sterling and the retail mark for Brand-Chatillon Co on the stem.
Each fork is about 6 3/4 inches long.
The total weight for the set is 485 grams or 17.1 regular ounces.
